Magic Variables

• Grab the output of any action. Eliminate Set Variable actions from your workflows. Just tap the Magic Variable button to select and use the output of any previous action in your workflow.
• Customize a variable to get specific details. Eliminate Get Details actions from your workflows. You can now tap on a variable to dive deeper and choose which details to extract.
• The new Current Date variable automatically provides the current date and time.
• The new Workflow Input variable grabs the input passed to an Action Extension workflow.
• Date variables can now be formatted inline, without the need for a Format Date action.
• You can now retrieve values from dictionary variables inline, without the need for a Get Dictionary Value action.
• There’s now a variable tray directly above the keyboard for easy access, including suggestions for variables you may want to use.
